Un rêve!

Standing on the edge of valley 
looking at the grass-caped mountain..
cool breeze swirled me like a lover and
gently caressed me..


Feeling of that touch shivered me
as i opened my arms to sense freedom...

Bewildered with the beauty of dew kissed earth
a tear rolled down my cheek!

The chilly winds beseeched my heart
and implored to explore my whimsical being..

Am i afraid of the thing as it is 
or am afraid  of what i think..

My eyes gazing at the view 
as whispering butterflies flew...
rainbow ribbons dancing in sky
seeing that gave me a high...

As i inhaled the fresh air
my dream broke with glimpse of a stare!

I lay on my bed 
Waiting to fall asleep again...
left with nothing but the thought
"Dreams take me to another place and time
where my life has reason and smile..!!"
